2025 Grand Street Unity Fest

What began as a simple but powerful gesture between friends—bringing food to the community during the uncertain times of 2019 and 2020—has blossomed into something special. The early days of food distribution weren’t just about meeting physical needs; they were about showing up for neighbors, standing in solidarity, and proving that unity is the foundation of strength.

Now, that spirit has grown into the Grand Street Unity Fest—a celebration that brings together residents, community organizations, and local leaders in the heart of Albany’s South End. On Saturday, August 16th, 2025, we invite everyone to experience a day of connection, care, and celebration at Grand Street Community Arts, a cornerstone of creativity and empowerment in the neighborhood.
